I've found that part of that for me is becoming a little bit more Jewish and taking on a lot of the Jewish ideas about the Torah and the nature of God. I believe that is so important for us to do as Christians - read the New Testament through the lens of the Old rather than vice versa. And learn as much as we can from our Jewish sisters and brothers. They are truly a light unto the nations and throughout history too many Christians have failed to realize that, thinking themselves a replacement for God's covenant with the Jewish people, which in my view is still very much valid. Christ came to bring us Pagans into the covenant which God already had with the children of Israel.
