We become different from one another and come to hate our fellow man when the very different idols we worship transform us into very different beasts. Nature is at war with itself and when we idolize it that fuels the wars among human beings.

David, excellent podcast. The last few days my thoughts have also gone in the direction of the hatred people have for each other. There's a modern view of nature as pristine and we're just a shabby second. From there it goes down hill with the latest craze of writers and activists wishing for the end of humanity.
