So something tremendously strange I’ve noticed about our Substack since we launched last July: very significant chunks of our readers are people I don’t know at all and many of you are outside of America! Substack reveals to us that “God of the Desert Books is read across 26 US states and 19 countries.” About a quarter of our readers are outside America! And from what I can gather at least half of our readers come via Substack with only a handful being people with whom I’ve dialogued.
So pretty please, can some of you reveal where in the world or the US you are located? We apparently have readers on every continent except Antarctica! Who’s in Australia? Who’s in Turkey? Who are our 4 African readers? Who’s in Argentina? Who’s in Thailand and Sweden? Inquiring minds want to know! Thanks! And if you have any suggestions for what content you like and want us to do more of then we’d love that too!
