Vladimir Putin Is a War Criminal and Mass Murderer Propped Up by Evil Narcissists
The support for the most dangerous man in the world sickens me. Especially among my fellow Americans who profess to defend freedom so loudly.
This is the 20th installment of the new “Axis of Genocide” series at this Zionist Substack, the successor to the “Antisemitism and Culture” series which can be read in two 30-essay collections here and here.
This new series will document and analyze the antisemitic genocidal war waged against Israel by the Hamas terrorist group and its primary supporter, the Islamic regime in Iran. The accomplices in this attempt at a second Holocaust — Vladimir Putin’s criminal-gangster state in Russia and the authoritarian regime in China — will also come in for scrutiny and loud condemnation, as will the non-state actors supporting them, particularly the international Muslim Brotherhood propaganda network, and radical activists of both the far left and the far right. Other evil states and terrorist groups will also receive scrutiny. You can find a list of previous installments at the end of this post. Thank you for your support.
I really should be focusing on editing novels today - we’ve made such great progress - but the weight of the events in the war has grown so much that it seemed necessary to put together a few of the recent data points.
First, on Feb. 8, Tucker Carlson provided the Russian serial killer Vladimir Putin with a fawning 2-hour-long interview, streamed on billionaire man-child and antisemite Elon Musk’s website, which he purchased for $44 billion.
Second, on Feb. 11, former president Donald J. Trump — the longtime Putin fanboy — proclaimed that Russia could invade NATO countries and he would do nothing.
Third, also on Feb. 11, Carlson said that America had lost its moral authority due to its support for Israel’s war to destroy Hamas, and that it was engaged in “destruction for its own sake.” He called Putin “impressive” and “very capable.”
Fourth, on Feb. 14, it was reported that Elon Musk called for the United States to stop supporting Ukraine in Putin’s imperial war of conquest, that "there is no way in hell" that the KGB-trained global criminal could lose. Musk claimed that if Putin withdrew from Russia that he would be assassinated. Musk is just so overwhelmingly wrong here. If Putin continues pursuing the war in Ukraine, then he could be assassinated, too. But really: Putin has always been in danger of assassination, no matter what he does. He’s a Russian leader. Assassinations come with the territory. He’s going to do what he wants and not be deterred in actions by supposedly making assassination more likely.
Finally, on Feb. 16, Putin’s government murdered the wrongfully-imprisoned Russian dissident Alexei Navalny, yet another Putin foe assassinated by his criminal regime.
In considering these data points, I'm reminded of history. And I see a parallel that aligns roughly like this:
Russia = Germany
Iran = Italy
China = Japan
Vladimir Putin = Adolf Hitler
Elon Musk = Henry Ford
Tucker Carlson = Charles Coughlin
Today, Russia is the authoritarian state seeking to expand its borders and commit genocide against a people to whom it denies the right to exist. Iran and China ally with Russia, and seek their own imperial conquests and genocidal efforts as well.
Vladimir Putin is the most evil, destructive human being on the world stage today. At this point, as I have argued previously, it is morally necessary to compare him to Adolf Hitler. He is doing the same things and he’s using antisemitism to do it, as this recent report from the State Department makes clear.
There’s nothing original about comparing Elon Musk to Henry Ford. Many have seen that, due to both pushing technological innovation, particularly in the car industry. However, the darker, more important parallel is that what Ford did with promoting antisemitism in his newspaper, The Dearborn Independent, is a tiny fraction of the antisemitism which Musk spreads today with the Dead Bird Site.
And then there’s Tucker Carlson, who at this point has become the most influential voice on the isolationist, authoritarian far right. He fills a comparable role to the infamous Father Charles Coughlin, except the digital media tools of today are infinitely more powerful and emotionally manipulative.
And what of Trump? Where does he go in this historical schema? I thought about it for a bit, and have ultimately come to this conclusion: Trump has no historical parallel. He is a unique historical force. While one can make comparisons and draw similarities with other historical figures, there isn’t anyone who really fits the cultural, political role he has developed — the level of such intense idolatry among so many people — or has such a first-grade level of maturity, ethics, and intellect. One would probably have to go back into the medieval period, the Dark Ages, or the Roman empire to find leaders with that strange combination of amorality, stupidity, narcissism, and malevolence.
Assessing the political and international realms today, I feel like such an old man - something I deeply resent, having just turned 40 less than a month ago.
Only 10 years ago, the ideas which are now trumpeted in the political right were considered marginal, extreme, absurd. It used to be it was largely just the Pat Buchanan paleo-conservative and Ron Paul paleo-libertarian factions which were promoting bullshit like the above, and on a much smaller scale. The hawkish, anti-communist, libertarian-conservative Reaganite consensus which had unified the GOP for 30 years still prevailed.
Now, the far-right, isolationist, pro-authoritarian worldview has become the dominant position in the Republican Party and so-called “conservative movement” (which I prefer to now more correctly call the “populist-nationalist far-right conspiracist movement.”)
And the historical parallels are just so damn obvious. I’m not saying anything all that original or controversial in pointing them out.
More and more, I’ve just been coming to accept that this is what America is. Men like Musk, Trump, and Carlson will just perpetually rise in public consciousness, and will then use their wealth, fame, and charisma to lead Americans to defend mass murderers committing genocide. It’s just always been this way, going back to when the continent was first settled by Europeans in the 1600s. Charismatic men out to make as much money as they can and willing to support mass murderers committing genocide to do it? Lots of people just want that.
I wish I could conclude with some encouraging words about how humans might break this seemingly perennial pattern, but I’m sorry, I’m not sure we can. This is who we are as Americans. This is who we are as human beings. And Trump, Musk, Carlson, and especially Vladimir Putin know this all too well.

Thank you for writing on this. I am glad that you and I see clearly the same thing that is happening on the world stage right now.
I am rarely taken aback by some pundit's statement. However Tucker Carlson right after giving the Putin interview and in the wake of Putin's assassination of a political rival Carlson said,
"‘Leadership Requires Killing People."
He wasn't saying this about giving the goahead to kill some terrorist, but about Putin killing a political rival.
Shocking. Unamerican.
I am as of now more optimistic about the world avoiding a WWII type situation. Mostly because the world leading up to WWII had no hegemonic power. However US hegemony currently teeters on collapsing. This would be a disaster and could very well lead to something akin to a word war.
I just hope the US system outlasts Putin and Xi, and the Iranian theocracy. That these countries get a chance to reverse course and move towards the free world.
100% agree.
