In my first solo podcast, I kick off the feature โTaken Together,โ in which we consider two books juxtaposed together, with โFull Disclosureโ by Stormy Daniels and โFree, Melania,โ by Kate Bennett. Representing two ends of the โfemale stock characterโ spectrum - the much-bemoaned Madonna and whore stereotypes - I consider what Donald Trump has to gain from twisting the women in his life into knots. I also take a look at what the porn star and the wifey have each symbolized, both to Trump and to the country.
What do you think of these two women? Are their lives any of our business? Are we accountable to them? And how on Earth is Trump himself accountable to either? Listen now!
