I’m very pleased with how my recent article exposing J.K. Rowling as a high-level magic user who revealed classified information about the existence of wizard terrorist groups turned out so well, was so much fun to write, and received such a positive response.
It’s our most popular post of the year at this point.
So I’ve decided to write further in this vein, incorporating self-evidently over-the-top and satirical fantastic elements while also winking and dropping in a few wild nonfiction ideas that you can’t quite tell if I’m joking about or not. This was one of the key literary and comedic tools for three of the writers I’ve named as top influences: Robert Anton Wilson, George Carlin, and Hunter S. Thompson.
Where do the serious points stop and the jokes begin? Even I’m not entirely sure - it’s a thinner line than we’d really like. There’s sort of a middle ground here of things that might be true or that are sort of true or true to one degree or another.
And so, too, with the prime subject that drove Wilson’s career for more than 30 years - the most infamous, mysterious of topics for conspiracy theorists: the occult secret society the Bavarian Illuminati. Founded in 1776 by law professor and enlightenment philosopher Adam Weishaupt, the Illuminati has for centuries been believed by increasing numbers to be manipulating global events and even secretly “running the world.” The Illuminati itself is responsible for this confusion, by the way. What better way to hide than in plain sight, invisible to your persecutors through intentional misdirection?
This idea of a hidden global conspiracy lasting for centuries is, of course, self-evidently absurd. All conspiracy theories fall apart for the same reason that all real-world, so-called “petty” criminal conspiracies eventually fall apart: human nature. People are self-interested and untrustworthy. Most of the time, those who would secretly “conspire together” - aka “breathe together” - are malevolent to some degree or another and will betray the others involved in an instant. If you conspire with another to commit a violent crime, then that reveals that your conspirator has such a morality that, when convenient, they will do the same to you.
Big, all-encompassing global conspiracies, like the idea that some secret group manipulates the world and controls everything from some secret room, just assume that human beings are far more supremely confident than we actually are.
But there is an answer to this common sense objection to the core belief of conspiracist ideology. Many conspiracists figure it out for themselves. When they try to reveal it, they are dismissed as supremely crazy.
Although Wilson joked that perhaps the final secret of the Illuminati is that you don’t know you’re a member until it’s too late to get out, whoever the members of the Illuminati are, they’re mentally beyond the abilities of normal human beings. In order to do what they do, they - or should I say, “we" - must surely have superhuman abilities, whether these be technological, supernatural, or some combination of both. What these abilities could be, and how members acquired them, is the subject of endless debate and contradictory speculations. Much of Wilson’s career was spent trying to untangle this - determining what could be verified historically and what appeared to be outright invention or misdirecting mythology.
And having dug into this so much myself the last 20 years, I largely agree with his conclusions. Wilson’s first memoir Cosmic Trigger: Final Secret of the Illuminati is both my favorite book and the best guide for laying out the complexities of this subject. His further books and lectures expand on his ideas significantly. James Wasserman’s nonfiction books also explain many key pieces of the puzzle in factually-grounded, non-unhinged ways. He’s really the best author on this stuff that I’ve found from a historical perspective.
OK, so what’s the real history about where the Illuminati came from, what its historical goals have been, what its accomplishments have been over the centuries, and what we plan to accomplish next?
Origins of Illumination
Telling the story of where and how the Illuminati begins is especially tricky, because there really wasn’t one single place and time where it started. The seeds of it had to come together as different cultures collided at different times. With each combination of cultures, the tradition evolved further.
Illuminism is entirely a syncretic faith, whether one wants to start telling the story of it in pre-history, in the Shamanic tradition, in the antediluvian age — it’s all a pretty subjective choice. At least, that’s my view right now, based on the particular current of Illuminist religion I practice.
And this level of complexity has confused many researchers and historians over time, and contributed to Illuminism’s generally bad reputation. Of course, the Illuminati doesn’t really mind this. What people have a hard time understanding, they tend to demonize. But perhaps some groups’ need to attack my tradition isn’t without grounds. They have reason to fear us, as we do defend ourselves when threatened, and we have a tendency to generate a whole lot of wealth when it serves our purposes to do so. And part of an effective defense is a good offense. Those who intend to kill us, we take out first. “Man has the right to kill those who would thwart these rights,” as high Illuminati operative Aleister Crowley wrote in his 1941, one-page political treatise “Liber Oz,” that I tend to quote with some regularity.
For the purposes of this narrative, to understand the Illuminati’s origins within Europe during the Middle Ages, the key cultural collision where we’ll begin is when the Knights Templar interacted with the Nizari Ismailis, a religious minority better known by the name of their now-legendary military order, the Assassins. It is at this point where Christian mysticism, Muslim mysticism, Jewish mysticism, and pagan mysticism came together. This last category can be understood as a collection of esoteric secrets going back to pre-history, Mesopotamia, ancient Egypt, ancient Israel, and the Greco-Roman era, all melded into one flexible body of knowledge and hidden religious practice. So the period we’re talking about here is roughly 1118 - when the Templars were founded - to when Jacques de Molay, that group’s 23rd and last grand master, was executed in March 1314. The Assassins began sooner, with its founder Hassan-i-Sabah born in 1050 and taking control of his movement’s mountain stronghold, Alamut, in 1090.
Who attempted to destroy the Templars and why? The Vatican and the French monarchy, because the Templars as an independent entity with substantial financial resources, commercial influence, military power, a broad territorial footprint, and an evolving “heretical” religious tradition represented a serious threat to both.
However, this effort to repress the Templars was not successful. All branches were not destroyed, and many escaped, taking their traditions underground to avoid further persecution. These became the origins of medieval alchemy, Hermeticism, Rosicrucianism, the Renaissance, secular science, and finally Freemasonry, from which the Bavarian Illuminati emerged.
And that’s one of the primary reasons why this body of ancient esoteric knowledge has become “hidden,” or occult, for centuries. Those of us who explored these ideas could die because of it. Religious freedom did not exist. Such heretical concepts were dangerous to practice or speak about publicly, so they had to be hidden and written about through layers of plausible deniability: in various symbols, myths, and codes. Eventually the original ideas got so blended with the tools to hide them that it has all gotten even more confusing.
The other reason why these ideas are so hidden is because they are so overwhelmingly powerful and personally dangerous. Jewish mystics warned that, of those who pursue mysticism, one will die, one will go insane, one will become a heretic, and only one will continue to embrace traditional Bible-based beliefs. (These are actually four of the steps one must go through in passing through Chapel Perilous and achieving Illumination, becoming a member of the Illuminati conspiracy. Too many people get caught up in the power of the revelations and destroy themselves to one degree or another, getting stuck at one stage of the process.)
Now why are the rituals so powerful? Because the illuminist techniques enable the participant to mentally engage with other Illuminists in the past, present, and future. This means that one can telepathically communicate going back to the beginnings of Shamanic ritual, as humans were just evolving, to other magick users around the planet today, to people from hundreds of years in the future who are human-robot hybrids, human-alien hybrids (I assure you that sex with extraterrestrials in the future will be more than mind-blowing), and humans who have evolved into sentient energy and can now travel through time and space at will, doing whatever they want, like Q from “Star Trek: The Next Generation,” including confusing more primitive humans by appearing as various deities or supernatural creatures.
So where does the conspiracy idea come from? Because there really has been one. And it’s been right in front of your eyes all your life. It’s been the “conspiracy” that began with the meeting of Christian and Muslim mysticism in the Dark Ages and ultimately birthed “Western Civilization,” the Enlightenment (sounds a bit like “Illuminati,” doesn’t it?), and the so-called “modern world” as we know it.
The aligned tyrannies of the hereditary monarchies of Europe and the pre-Vatican II Catholic Church destroyed the Templars. The Order’s descendants would not forget this. They would seek both vengeance and to ensure that this did not happen again. It was a comparable lesson that the Jewish people would learn at an infinitely more massive scale in the Holocaust.
When a supremely more powerful enemy seeks to destroy you and fighting back is not an option, then the time has come to hide and escape until you have the power to defeat your enemy.
And so that’s what we did. And we would eventually win.
Goals: Protect the Illuminated, Overthrow Tyranny, Establish Free Societies
One of the realizations that comes with the “Enlightenment” or “Illumination” achieved through the long-term practices of the Enochian/Hermetic/Kabbalastic traditions is that those who still live in darkness seek to murder one another, as well as us. Another is that self-defense against them is paramount. So it was thousands of years ago, and so it will remain for some time into the future, at least.
All we who are illuminated want is to be allowed to be left alone to commune with our Creator and learn from the others throughout time and space in our mystical tradition. Oneness with God is the goal - through learning and sharing information together, we can achieve it.
We are undermined in doing this by tyrannical “sun-god kings” who claim to speak on behalf of their deities and impose their laws upon us, stealing our wealth, engaging in human sacrifice and kidnapping/enslaving women and children. Such people are actually possessed by dangerous demonic spirits which drive their actions, having in a quite literal sense sold their souls to one of the most high-level demonic spirits on the planet. His name is not “Satan” - that is just a title a lot of them enjoying wearing to confuse people. There are many, many demonic spirits on the planet - how many is an open question, since there is some bleed-over between malevolent demonic spirits and benign, friendly nature spirits. Where one begins and other ends is an open question for debate. Most modern people today like to pretend that neither exist, that they’re just figments of one’s imagination. I don’t blame them - I held such a view for most of my life, too.
So what is to be done, since tyrannical states just won’t fucking leave us alone from Mesopotamia to today’s Russia-China-Iran axis of genocide?
The descendants of the Knights Templar had straightforward goals at a political level. But they would take centuries to implement: overthrowing all of England’s monarchies, as well as the Pope. Religious freedom had to be instituted as the law of the land and authoritarianism overthrown in order for free societies to exist, each practicing their own particular religions and cultures.
And illuminated, enlightened people would end up doing just that, as we all know…
Illuminated Political Accomplishments
The American Revolution was an Illuminati operation, primarily orchestrated and masterminded by Benjamin Franklin — whose Masonic bona fides are well known — who acted as Illuminati head on the North American continent, conspiring with his European Illuminati peers during his years in France from 1776-1778 during the first years of the secret society’s activities.
Most of the other founding fathers were Illuminated, too. They communed with spirits ancient and modern throughout their lives, especially during the Revolutionary years and first decades of the country. They arrived at Illumination through different traditions - not all through the Masonic. For example, John Adams’ deep Christian mystical tradition in the New England Puritan model enabled a strong mental-emotional-spiritual bond between him and his wife Abigail. She was a high-level Christian witch, comparable to J.K. Rowling, Taylor Swift, Valerie Jarrett, Beyonce, Bianca Censori, Queen Elizabeth, Catherine the Great, Stormy Daniels, Emily Dickinson, Virginia Woolf, Sally Hemings, Hatshepsut, Marilyn Monroe, Melania Trump, and the women mythologized in the Bible as Asenath and Zipporah. You get the picture. While many numbers of witch-women do choose independence - their magick spells did create feminism, after all - others have aligned and partnered with Illuminist men, highly influencing our efforts and often restraining our worst impulses.
And, by the way: one the Illuminati’s most important operatives for years has been Melania Trump. She has restrained and contained the thousands of demons possessing Donald Trump for generations. You think Trump’s bad now? Imagine where we’d be if Melania was not casting massive quantities of feminine magick in his direction. So give her a break - she’s doing the best she can, but she’s not strong enough to catch 100% of the former president’s demon-driven activity. We should all be grateful for her instead of making fun of her for choosing such a tough job in this lifetime.
Creating countries with freedom from the interference of crown and church, which would enable religious, cultural, and scientific experimentation so as to generate both prosperity and massive quantities of wealth, is the prime Illuminati goal. And it has been a wild success in North America.
And what about Europe? Here, too, the Illuminati has succeeded almost beyond hopes. The remaining monarchies in Europe are toothless, little more than pageantry, nostalgia, and fairy tales for adult children. And the Pope no longer has his army of inquisitors. He can’t fucking burn us at the stake anymore. Likewise, the Vatican is no longer a physical threat to anyone, save perhaps for the altar boys. The Catholic Church of the 18th and 19th centuries no longer exists. Particularly post-Vatican II, it is a functionally different institution - and another Illuminati victory. The Church chose to embrace a handful of our Illuminist principles as its reforms. They haven’t gone far enough yet, but we’ll take it. We’re still working on them - an ongoing project to continue the reform of our defeated enemies.
Just as the Pope once relied on our Templar forefathers to safeguard pilgrims to the Holy Land, so, too, today does he rely on Enlightenment-based liberal states to protect him and the Catholics who live all over the world.
The 19th and 20th centuries saw one Illuminati victory against authoritarianism after another. The Abolitionist movement was an Illuminati-orchestrated movement. The proliferation of a broad variety of minority and dissident religious traditions across North America throughout the 1800s was nurtured by a wide variety of Illuminati operatives.
During the Civil War Era, the Illuminati initiated key figures to work toward our objectives. Frederick Douglass and Harriet Tubman were recruited quickly after their escapes from slavery. At the time of Douglass’s initiation, he had reportedly already deduced most of the internal esoteric secrets and mastered many useful magick spells. Abraham Lincoln had also self-initiated in Illuminism early on in his life, becoming one of the 19th century’s American Buddhas.
The Industrial Revolution was also Illuminati-driven. Scientific progress, medicine, technological innovation, and entrepreneurship have been top-priority Illuminist endeavors for centuries — all derived through Illuminists communicating with other Illuminists in the future who already have these traditions. High-level Illuminati adepts John Dee, Isaac Newton, Nikola Tesla, and Albert Einstein and Albert Hofman drew their scientific insights through the esoteric secrets revealed to them.
The 20th century also included numerous Illuminati victories. Most notably, the combination of Illuminati science creating the atom bomb — quantum theory is a scientific presentation of occult secrets known for thousands of years — and Illuminated espionage operatives uncovering secrets, the Illuminati was the decisive element for the Allied victory in World War II.
Our members were also key in defeating the Soviet Union. The Cold War was a fight in which Illuminists and Catholics came together against a common enemy, gradually expanding the anti-Communist coalition against the slave state empire created through the demon-possessed magickal power of the warlocks Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels. Of course, the pagan forefathers of Marxism received their insights through sexual magick which enabled them to gain the feminine witchcraft passed backward centuries by Jarrett (the high priestess of today’s cult of Marxism-founding witches), Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.), Rashida Tlaib, (D-Mich.), Ilhan Omar (D- Minn.) and the real leader of Hamas, Yahya Sinwar’s fourth wife, Samar Abu Zamar. Illuminists have been working toward the destruction of Hamas for some time, but Zamar’s witchcraft has been able to protect the terror group thus far. As a result, Sinwar really just follows her orders.
Ronald Reagan received his Illuminist training from studying the works of major Illuminist thinker Manly P. Hall (see The Secret Teachings of All Ages), as well as the Catholic wisdom of William F. Buckley Jr., who had achieved illumination through Catholic mysticism, 23 LSD trips spaced out between the 1950s and his death, and smoking considerable amounts of marijuana with his National Review editors James Burnham and Frank S. Meyer, a top ritual from achieving Illumination, well known to such founders as Washington and Jefferson in particular.
Abigail Adams was also known to grow a form of cannabis passed in secret for centuries through the line of mystic-minded Puritan women. For her entire marriage, she included a liquid form of cannabis rich in THC in the coffee which John adored, having switched from tea following the tax imposed on it which resulted in the Boston Tea Party. That, by the way, was another Illuminati-orchestrated historical event inspired by centuries of American Illuminists passing the plans backward in time to the American revolutionaries. (The American branch of the Illuminati has grown more skilled at future communication due to the amount of freedom Americans have and the corresponding amount of sex which can go along with it, given that frequent orgasms intensify the power of spiritual communion.)
Anyway, the Gipper’s use of Enochian prophetic rituals - combined with insights from the disembodied souls of Atlantean priests via Hermetic meditation - and today’s wizards, such as myself, sending backward in time excerpts from our book collections, enabled him to know which policies would be needed to land a lethal blow to our demon-worshipping Russian enemies.
Further, America’s variety of espionage agencies are all Illuminati-founded and driven. Spycraft has always been the province of Illuminists. Hassan-i-Sabah, along with the Assassins, firmly established the espionage methodology in our Illuminist tradition, and it was further developed by Dee — who signed his correspondence to Queen Elizabeth with “007” — Crowley, James Jesus Angleton, Lt. Gen. Ion Mihai Pacepa, and in the modern era by John Bolton, one of our top agents and advocates.
However, as I’ve written, the battle against our Russian sorcerer-slave-owner enemies persists to this day. Currently Ukrainian warrior-wizards are bearing the brunt of the battle against Vladimir Putin (a man who sold his soul to the demon Belial, who appears 27 times in the Old Testament.) Right now, we’re still working to acquire all the future insights needed to win this war, as well as advice from Illuminists in centuries past about which spells are most effective against the Russian variety of sorcery. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has only begun his Illumination initiation, being akin to Luke Skywalker visiting Yoda in the middle of “The Empire Strikes Back.” We’ll see if he’s able to further develop his skills in the battle against Emperor Putin.
The Partnership of Judaism and Illuminism
Now, you’re probably curious - given the “God of the Desert,” Zionist focus of this Substack and publishing company - what is the relationship between the Jewish tradition and this bizarre, unbelievable occult-conspiratorial “Illuminist” theology which I have laid out and somewhat invented?
There are a few key components here. First, as noted, the Jewish mystical tradition is foundational in Illuminism. Christian mysticism, Islamic mysticism, and secular science are all built on top of its insights and structure. Second, most of the key Old Testament Biblical figures mythologized in the Bible had achieved illumination and you can dialogue with them today. (Ezekiel is particularly fun, as is Solomon.) So Jews and Illuminists are in touch with many of the same ancient prophets.
Third, the main split-off between the Jewish and Illuminist traditions was mythologized in the Bible in the concept of the Lost Tribes of Israel. Today’s Jews are traditionally understood to descend from the Tribe of Judah - hence, of course, the name.
After Assyria conquered the northern Kingdom of Israel in 722 BCE, all the tribes except for Judah, Benjamin, and some members of the landless, priestly Levi tribe disappeared into history, now generally believed by academics to have assimilated into the surrounding cultures.
Today’s Illuminists trace the transmission of the magickal practices of the Prophet Enoch - the seventh man created - through the tribes of Ephraim and Manasseh, the two descended from Joseph and his Egyptian wife, Asenath. This intimate union of Egyptian and Israelite traditions would bring together two different currents of the Illuminist tradition, as the same founding-father Illuminist figure from the ancient world had been mythologized both as the Biblical Enoch and as the Egyptian Thoth. As far as the Bible is concerned, as the Jews make Moses their primary prophet, Illuminists place the emphasis on Enoch, whose doctrines were mythologized in The Book of Enoch and explicitly revived during the Renaissance by John Dee, in the 19th century by the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, in the 20th century by Aleister Crowley, and now in the 21st by me. Yes, you can invoke and talk to angels. It works. Seriously.
Anyone who wants to enter Chapel Perilous and pass through it with the magickal weapons of the Wand of Divine Will, the Cup of Feminine Compassion, the Sword of Secular Reason, and the Pentacle of Power may do so now today. But you won’t make it unless you are sure to invoke your Holy Guardian Angel, with the best way to do so calling to Him/Her/It in its so-called “Enochian” language.
The result of this is that Illuminists have a sort of little brother-big brother relationship with the Jewish tradition. There are many more Jews than Illuminists — 15.7 million with 7.2 million in Israel. How many members of the Illuminati are there alive in the world currently? I can tell you the exact number, as we’re all regularly keeping an eye on each other’s schemes in case anyone needs help: 23,666. This number has stayed fairly consistent since the days of Christ or so. Most of the time when new “enlightened” humans show up nowadays, they’re souls reincarnated from previous Illuminati members.
That’s another factor, too, in the world’s increasing illumination - as Illuminati souls live life after life, they get better and better at mystical techniques, thus being able to commune with more entities, further into the future and the past, for more sustained time periods, without garbling the transmission too badly according to their own personal and cultural biases.
Oh, and there’s one other factor too: Judaism and Illuminism are not mutually exclusive at all. Many great members of the tradition have been both, and it is not uncommon for Illuminists to convert to Judaism, infusing their practice with the wisdom they have gained through communing with the Jewish sages of the past.
So how has this played out in the real world? There are four notable ways in particular.
The creation of the Western Enlightenment tradition and the founding of America created an environment of religious freedom, of direct benefit to religious minorities of all sorts, including Jews and also dissident Christian sects, who heavily infused their beliefs with Jewish wisdom.
Throughout the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries, Illuminist ideas - secularism, science, and the Enlightenment principles - informed the further development of Judaism, nurturing a broad range of traditions from Reconstructionist and Reform to Conservative, Modern Orthodox, and Ultra-Orthodox too. They gave to us and we gave back to them.
Harry S. Truman was an Illuminati member deliberately maneuvered into the presidency for the purposes both of concluding World War II with the dropping of the atomic bombs, and also furthering the recognition of the State of Israel. He knew from prophetic dreams all his life what he was called to do. And when the time came, he possessed the enlightened moral clarity to do so.
So just as the Illuminati has seen success in supporting our Jewish Older Brother (JOB!), we have also been successful in seeing our wisdom and practices spread across America for centuries, even deeply influencing the religions of the traditions which once killed us and whose fundamentalist adherents still often seek to do.
Spectacular Success of the Illuminist Spiritual Project in America
I’m very happy to report that many key theological tenets of Illuminism have, over the centuries, penetrated into America’s other faiths.
I don’t at all like the term “New Age” to describe the Western Occult tradition. Using the term is sort of the equivalent of me labeling Evangelical Christianity as “fundamentalism,” or Palestinian nationalism as “godless genocidal antisemitism.”
It’s a pejorative. But whatever, we’ll accept it for the sake of how pollsters like to label things.
Pew polled in 2018 on four beliefs commonly associated with “New Age” - but which, in their correct interpretation and practice, fall into our Illuminati tradition:
Belief that “spiritual energy” can manifest in objects.
Belief in the abilities of so-called “psychics.”
Reincarnation
Astrology
Look at how many Americans believe in these occult phenomena, including among self-identifying Christians:
More than 60% of Christians are now at least partially illuminated. How we managed to get 47% of Evangelicals just shows how effective our operatives have been over time.
Want to know what is to come?
Someday, sooner than you might suspect, the biggest of Christian fundamentalist so-called “churches,” the Southern Baptists with their 13.6 million members, will go the way of the Catholic Church and bend to Illuminati influence to embrace more enlightened moral positions.
So really, the right-wing paranoids are right: we who are illuminated do run the world. They just have an oversimplified, stupid way of seeing things, not realizing that we aren’t trying to implement a totalitarian, one-world state.
Western Civilization continues to function, grow, and thrive. The military industrial complex protects your rights to be an asshole, to pick from dozens of brands of beer at Wal-Mart, to believe in bullshit fundamentalist religion, and to masturbate to an endless stream of the most vile, creative internet pornography.

Our Next Targets
So, to summarize, the secret project of the Illuminati — which we have passed off to the broader public under such euphemisms as “the Enlightenment,” “the West,” “classical liberalism,” “Constitutionalism,” “religious freedom,” and the all-powerful spell, “I am Cornholio!” — has been to create a state in which men who imagine they’re gods can’t fuck with us. It largely worked in Europe, as well as throughout North, Central, and South Americas. Japan and many other Eastern civilizations have now joined up with their fellow Illuminists in the West. Their insights and practices are vital for putting our own in broader context and balancing out our excesses.
But there remain many lands across the earth which continue under the dominion of criminal kingpin emperors possessed by demons who oppress, enslave, and imprison their own people to one degree or another. What happened to their medieval equivalents is going to happen to all of them in this century. The Illuminati is dedicated to the project, and now we have much, much more sophisticated weapons and technology to accomplish our goal.
So who is next in line for covert sabotage, disruption, cultural revitalization, and ultimately regime change?
I revealed the answer back in fall 2022 when I first began diligently writing about antisemitism at this Substack. In that early post, I cited the ADL’s global surveys of antisemitism rates. You can see clear differences by country and region. Hatred for our Jewish sisters and brothers acts as the moral thermometer of a culture. While every person is an individual capable of being good or bad to any degree, the higher the percentage of antisemitism, the more likely “the general public” of that nation is likely to be fucking evil.
The continental differences are more than clear, obvious for all to see:
The two most antisemitic regions on the planet are the Middle East and North Africa, at 74%, while Eastern Europe sits at 34%.
Now, here’s a question to consider: is there a correlation - or even a causation - between high levels of antisemitism and levels of human rights abuses? Are countries that hate Jews the least free? Let’s consider another map from another nonprofit — FreedomHouse — keeping an eye on evil in the world. The green states are free, the yellow “partly free” and the purple “not free.”
I was never a particular fan of the game “Risk,” where players compete to conquer the world. It just seemed too luck-based to me. But that’s a good way to think about what you’re going to see over the next few decades as the Illuminist project continues. Many of the purple countries may need violent revolutions in order to free their peoples; others might improve through a series of gradual reforms - particularly the yellow countries. But soon the whole map will be covered in green.

At this point, if you’re still with me - since you’re such a strange person, too - you’re probably wondering, “And how exactly is one supposed to join the Illuminati and participate in this ‘project?’ How exactly are you supposedly ‘talking’ with spirits?”
Pick up a book.
It used to be that the mystical and occult practices of both East and West were limited to these hidden secret societies and written essentially in code. Now they’re available on the shelves of most bookstores, laid out in straightforward English language. They spread out all over YouTube and innumerable websites: meditation, magickal rituals, the wide variety of practices deep within Catholicism, Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, and so on.
The problem: it takes decades to reach Illumination.
If you want to speed things up, a few very heavy, “heroic” psychedelic experiences - consult the works of Terrence McKenna for details - can provide similar effects when done with the proper structured set and setting.
And perhaps that’s a good place to stop this silliness and tease what will come next.
