I love this! And as you know, I think you're exactly right. I'm so glad you showed this to me again last summer. I'd enjoyed Fantasia as a child, but hadn't seen it since, and you're right - this story arc practically leapt off the screen.

It's really one of those movies that just gets better and better with each viewing - you start to pick up on more and more that's layered into it. Thanks so much for getting me thinking about it today! Keep up the kick ass writing at your substack!
