God Must Loveth Folly
Amazed am I sometimes that folly ours, God endures
Truth think we our own ill-informed opinions make
Time waste we doggedly on pursuits futile and selfish
Harder we work to not say ‘yes’ or ‘no’ when meant.
Wasting peace, stuff our bellies full, fools we do elect
War we want not, while our deeds beg it ever closer.
