From 'I Straight Up Support Hamas' to Holocaust Denial
So many antisemites are as dumb as dried shit. They won't even pick up on when you're leading them into exposing their bigotry and irrationality.
This is the 24th installment of the new “Axis of Genocide” series at this Zionist Substack, the successor to the “Antisemitism and Culture” series which can be read in two 30-essay collections here and here.
This new series will document and analyze the antisemitic genocidal war waged against Israel by the Hamas terrorist group and its primary supporter, the Islamic regime in Iran. The accomplices in this attempt at a second Holocaust — Vladimir Putin’s criminal-gangster state in Russia and the authoritarian regime in China — will also come in for scrutiny and loud condemnation, as will the non-state actors supporting them, particularly the international Muslim Brotherhood propaganda network, and radical activists of both the far left and the far right. Other evil states and terrorist groups will also receive scrutiny. You can find a list of previous installments at the end of this post. Thank you for your support.
Given that today is Purim — our Jewish friends’ holiday in which they celebrate their triumph over those who would destroy them with a festival of fun filled with costumes and laughter — I thought this would fit.
And my apologies that this is a long one. I have a tendency to go long in internet “debates” because I only engage in them when I know that I can win because the facts are overwhelmingly on my side. When that’s the case, then watch the fuck out, because you’re about to encounter a steamroller.
This discussion began in response to an exchange I had with this left-wing
Substacker, who tried to claim he was supporting a “pro-Palestinian cause” while not supporting Hamas. He chose not to answer my question below about whether he supported Hamas’s destruction or its survival for reasons which should be obvious. So someone else chose to jump in instead and make explicit their support for Hamas:It’s not often in these sorts of exchanges in which someone openly says they support an antisemitic terrorist group. When they declare they support the mass murder of civilians, what exactly is there to “debate”? They’ve made clear they don’t believe in rational argument, they believe in irrational killing. So they may think they are “debating,” but really they’re getting interviewed.
How is one to regard claims of systematic extermination when the one advocating for them is an anonymous person who calls it “genociding”?
The page he linked to was written by another anonymous user, so I didn’t even bother reading it beyond the byline. I just dismissed it, as I would go on to dismiss all of his conspiracy theories rather than arguing against them — which would have been a form of legitimization.
And then the overt antisemitism came:
Seriously, “you people”?
All this inspired this thought after I’d consumed the first cup of the day’s coffee:
As I started my second cup, “Anakin” continued to expose his antisemitism and his ignorance of basic grammar:
I had to strongly resist making a joke about Cristal, the longtime beverage of choice among rappers.
Or pointing out that he was one of those people who did not understand the difference between “their” and “there.”
Instead, I chose to drill a bit deeper to see if I could get to the origins of his Jew hatred:
Are my preferred philosophical tools obvious at this point?
I’m doing standard, “straight-up” Socratic method, infused with my journalistic training in conducting interviews. I’m also taking the chess player’s approach of playing the game three moves ahead. Whatever I choose to say, it’s done with an understanding of the various moves he’s likely to turn to in response and my simple goal: letting him accidentally reveal just how hateful and irrational he is so all can see where “I straight-up support Hamas” concludes.
Heh - “you people” again.
From the ADL:
The number 109 is white supremacist numeric shorthand for an antisemitic claim that Jews have been expelled from 109 different countries. Various antisemites have compiled lists of alleged Jewish “expulsions” ranging from 100 to more than 1,000 in number, but the figure of 109 is the most commonly cited and probably originates with a list of “109 locations” appearing on a longstanding Australian antisemitic website.
Antisemites use this purported figure to claim that Jews must be a malicious and harmful people to have been expelled from so many places; they also use the figure to call for the expulsion of Jews from countries where they currently live.
Anyone and everyone who writes online under a pseudonym does so for the same reason: they are afraid what would happen if they wrote the same things under their own name. Call this out every time you’re in a “debate” with such a person.
At this point he probably began to pick up on what I was doing so he tried to shift to posing questions rather than answering them.
That seemed a good moment to deliver an emotional hit, challenging his cowardice. I restrained myself from saying “fucking scared little bitch” but perhaps I should have. Antisemites like him need to be properly diagnosed.
Is it clear what he doesn’t want to reveal now here?
He’s fucking afraid of Jewish people. But he doesn’t want to admit that clearly because to do so would show just how fucking pathetic he is.
That’s the truth about antisemites - they do not want to confront just how weak they are. Instead they need to focus on blaming their weakness on others who are much stronger and more self-confident about who they are.
Notice how, now that I’ve revealed the absurdity of his claim that Israel is committing genocide, he comes back with the weakest tea imaginable to try and prove his claim - that Israel is supposedly trying to systematically destroy Palestinians’ food and water sources to exterminate them.
That’s the best you’ve got to prove genocide? As the whole world can see the aid trucks and air drops of food? When in history has a country ever tried to starve to death another country as they let in endless trucks of food and water?
I suppose one shouldn’t be surprised by someone so illiterate and fucking stupid they can’t distinguish between “their” and “there” or “crystal” and “cristal.”
I didn’t even bother trying to “debate” with him on this point and just continued pressing ahead with the question he did not want to answer.
Again, I don’t even engage with the conspiracy theory claims — just dismiss them and press on with the question that he continues to dodge. As Christopher Hitchens popularized:
That which is asserted without evidence can be dismissed without evidence.
Now my antisemitic interlocutor claims to be a Muslim. And if it was around sunset for him when it was 10:25 a.m. my time then that would make it roughly 6:25 p.m. his time - 8 hours ahead - positioning him likely in the United Kingdom, apparently.
Now, instead of asking a question, I simply restate his conspiracist position, which answered my question. He’s afraid of Jews because he believes that Jews are controlling people and making them their “minions.”
And that serves as an effective conclusion to the discussion. I’m no longer asking anything of him or trying to debate. He’s answered the question — he’s afraid of Jewish people because he believes they have hypnotized non-Jews into serving them.
In other words, the Hamas supporter believes the same thing about Jews as the Nazi supporter.
But what’s the difference today compared to 80 years ago? Now the genocidal antisemites can threaten and harass us with impunity, their evil ideas beamed directly into our pockets. And Hamas does not seek to hide their genocidal goals - they have made them abundantly clear to the world since their formation in 1987 and now showed everyone what they looked like in action on Oct. 7.
Yet so many people don’t want to see it. They go into elaborate dances of denial to blind themselves to what’s right there.
And I guess it’s at about this point in the laughing-at-the-antisemites exercise when the fun seems to stop, and I’m reminded why joking about bigotry often seems such an inadequate, unfulfilling counter.
Purim only lasts one day of each year. After the laughter and joy, the Jewish people must return to the reality they know too well. And us “Gentile Zionists” who so “concern” the fucking evil antisemites like the one above will be here supporting them with weapons far more powerful than jokes as they continue their mission to fucking obliterate Hamas.

Good show, David! People believe what they want to believe, facts, reason, be damned. It takes a lot of effort to keep that wall up around their hearts too, I’m sure. I'm constantly amazed by this pathetic human trait.
Your subtitle pretty much sums it up... It's the oppression Olympics out there.
