I am left with many questions, as the best writing must do, but only one I feel compelled to ask:
“The God of Israel is the One True God of the Universe.”
Are we talking El or YHVH* here?
(I prefer “Jehovah”, but that’s mostly because I treasure my juniper bush, as any quality hermetic hermit ought to do.)
The God of Israel is a syncretism of El and YHWH that mystically symbolizes transcendence beyond time and space. God is a verb.
