No you're not crazy and your father would/should be proud of what you have written. It's a core pillar of correct/ righteous law that the legal situation can't be changed retrospectively. And yes, what is happening in the US is putting the lives of those in ICE camps at risk.
Since you are familiar with the 'death camps' you know damn well that you are deliberately lying when comparing this camp to those. Just a cheap headline grabber to get publicity for yourself.
Let me back up and rewrite my inquiry that no one responded to. "How can you compare to concentration camps when this camp has not yet done anything to use in a comparison? What is your foundation for the comparison?" Another question; Why would you use a death camp in you title if your dialogue was not about death camps? Please note, I am just asking questions arising from common sense and reason, no insults directed or implied.
Yes. You obviously have strong opinions but your opinions have nothing to do with my inquiry, which I repeat, "How can a comparison be made with something that has happened to something that has yet to happen?" What the article did was to compare something that has happened to a speculation of what might happen, but has not yet happened. Nowhere have I offered an opinion on the Florida camp and I am not doing so now. I am just commenting on the unreasonableness of the article by comparing something that is with something that isn't. So far no one has responded to my question, leaving me to wonder why.
Your "inquiry" is rather ridiculous, James. The article answers your question. And mine from yesterday makes it even more clear what our position is. Your comment is unreasonable. Sally and I are not the ones being unreasonable. You are the one choosing to engage in cognitive dissonance by willfully ignoring what we're saying.
I am willfully ignoring what you are saying because I don't care what your positions are. Your positions have nothing to do with my question. You say the article answers how a comparison can be made between something that exists to something that doesn't exist. I don't see it.
Folks from both sides of that most horrible time in history need to use their current stations to make sure nothing even remotely like the Holocaust ever happens again.
My father would not be embarrassed if he were alive to read this essay. But if he were, somehow, I'd remind him he owes me one: He mooned me and all my friends at the restaurant we went to before prom!
Sounds like the same thing as Nauru and Manus Island. That's really messed up but sadly not unprecedented.
I agree and think everyone should use Alligator Auschwitz until they admit that is what it is. Thank you for your reporting.

Thanks! He's deceased, but he was a writer himself and a big fan of pointing out the hard truth.

No, James, we’re not lying here.
How can you compare to the death camps when this camp has not yet done anything to use in a comparison? What is your foundation for the comparison?
Did you read where I remind us all that concentration camps are not, by definition, death camps?
Did you read where Auschwitz is in the title?
James, she wrote the headline and it’s clear you were just triggered by it like a wimpy leftist and didn’t bother to read the article.

I'm sorry you don't like my comparison, but there are no lies here.
See my reply to David.
Shalom,
You're crazy.
Embarass your father in a more productive way.
Family got out, most of the didn't get out of the REAL camps
