5 Predictions Regarding Hostage 'Negotiations' with Hamas
The beginning of a new series continuing the documentation and analysis of the ongoing genocidal war to destroy the Jewish people.
“Son of man, set forth an allegory and tell it to the house of Israel as a parable." - Ezekiel 17:2
Today we launch a new series at God of the Desert Books, Hostage Liberation News, which will focus exclusively on new developments and efforts in the fight to ensure the release of the human beings kidnapped by the Islamist terror group Hamas for use as human shields. Please see our previous writings on this subject, linked at the bottom of this post. You can also read the 90 installments of the “Antisemitism and Culture” and “Axis of Genocide” series here.
This morning, details emerged about the new proposal that Israel has made to Hamas — and which President Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr. has endorsed — in order to recover the hostages and end the war. The plan has the further support of the Islamist regime in Qatar, the authoritarian regime in Egypt, the former imperial regime in the United Kingdom, and the perpetually morally confused United Nations.
So this is what “the global community” clearly wants Israel to do.
Here are the key points:
Three separate stages are proposed in which progressively more hostages would be released until all have been liberated.
Hamas would receive a significant number of freed terrorist murderers from Israeli prisons.
There would be a temporary stop of Israeli military activity for the first 42 days, as well as withdrawal of forces from populous areas in Gaza.
Increased humanitarian aid trucks would be deployed.
Israel would outline plans for withdrawal from Gaza.
In the second stage of 42 days, further hostage-prisoner exchanges would occur and plans would develop for a permanent end to the war.
In the final 42 days, both sides would exchange the bodies of their dead.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office released the following statement confirming approval to present the deal to Hamas:
"Israel's government is united in its want to return our hostages as early as possible and is working to achieve that goal.
"Therefore, the Prime Minister has allowed the negotiation team to present the proposal in order to reach these goals, under the condition that the war will not stop until reaching all of its goals, returning all hostages, and destroying the military capabilities of Hamas. The precise proposal from Israel, allowing it to oversee the transfer from stage to stage, will allow Israel to retain these principles."
Now, I can understand why many Zionists would regard this proposal as entirely unacceptable. It would allow Hamas to continue to exist… for the time being, at least.
However, it seems abundantly clear just why Israel agreed to present this deal:
They know full well that Hamas will not accept it, because the terror group cannot accept it.
“And so I will show my greatness and my holiness, and I will make myself known in the sight of many nations. Then they will know that I am the LORD.” - Ezekiel 38:23
Here are my five prophetic predictions for how these hostage “negotiations” will proceed, and then what we can anticipate with the war in the coming months. I hope that I am wrong.
No deal will be reached for further hostage releases.
Hamas has murdered most of the un-recovered hostages.
Israel will not stop fighting Hamas in Gaza until every hostage is recovered, alive or dead.
Israel will not stop fighting Hamas in Gaza until the terror group is completely destroyed and dismantled.
Biden will only continue to make rescuing the remaining hostages and defeating Hamas more difficult with his morally-confused meddling.
Now, I do not claim any supernatural ability to tell the future, of course. I seek to see the future in the Biblical prophetic tradition: through understanding the past and human nature.
These five points break down thus:
1. No deal will be reached for further hostage releases.
May I remind everyone what we all learned in March:
It simply is not possible for Hamas to make a hostage deal, both for practical and strategic reasons.
First, the hostages are so scattered over Gaza, some likely not even in Hamas’s hands. We know Islamic Jihad captured some, and unaffiliated Palestinians apparently took others.
Second, Hamas’s billionaire leaders are relying on these hostages as literal human shields. To give them up would make it much easier for the Mossad to administer justice.
Leftists have been crowing about how much Israel’s magical, invincible spy agency should just “take out Hamas’s leaders.” And I’ve explained again and again that that just isn’t practical, that they are hidden in the underground tunnel labyrinth, and that merely killing leaders won’t stop Iran from installing new ones.
Defeating the Hamas battalions is what needed to be done. And that’s largely been completed. So this transition to covertly eliminating Hamas leaders could potentially happen if and when the hostages were recovered.
“But if you do warn the wicked to turn from their ways and they do not do so, they will die for their sins, though you yourself will be saved.” - Ezekiel 33:9
2. Hamas has murdered most of the un-recovered hostages.
From what we’ve seen in the last few months, when new hostages are found, they are usually dead. Often we learn that they died on Oct. 7.
This corpse-collecting might very well have been a deliberate strategy by Hamas in order to enhance their “bargaining position” by making the world think they had far more Israelis captured than they did.
3. Israel will not stop fighting Hamas in Gaza until every hostage is recovered, alive or dead.
I really don’t want this to be the case. I hope that Hamas somehow could accept this deal. At this point, recovering the hostages is a much higher priority in my view. Hamas will eventually be destroyed. As much as I’d like to see that happen quickly, it could happen after hostages were recovered.
4. Israel will not stop fighting Hamas in Gaza until the terror group is completely destroyed and dismantled.
Again, I really don’t want this to be the case. If Israel could shift to “taking out Hamas leaders” rather than carrying out perpetual ground operations, then that would be incredible.
But it doesn’t appear that Hamas is giving Israel that option.
Further, the two objectives of hostage rescue and Hamas deconstruction are inextricably linked. Failure to defeat Hamas would effectively incentivize future kidnappings, making clear that such a tactic of using Jews as human shields will be legitimized by Democrats, leftists, the UN, the so-called “global community,” and everyone else deeply naïve about the objectives of Islamist ideology.
“Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: I am about to stretch out my hand against the Philistines, and I will wipe out the Kerethites and destroy those remaining along the coast.” - Ezekiel 25:16
5. Biden will only continue to make rescuing the remaining hostages and defeating Hamas more difficult with his morally-confused meddling.
Our 81-year-old Commander-in-Chief will further demonstrate why I cannot support him, in spite of my disgust at the machinations of former president Donald John Trump, the now-convicted felon.
So essentially - this whole hostage “negotiation” is largely just a ruse in order to further make clear to the “global community” that Hamas is the party which wants the war to continue - as if that wasn’t fucking obvious enough to anyone with two functioning neurons in their skull.
At least, I hope that Biden realizes that. I’m not sure he really does. Netanyahu and the Israelis certainly do, but having watched the President’s political career for decades, I have no confidence in either his intelligence or his moral clarity. Exhibits A and B: his policies on Afghanistan and Iran, both of which empowered genocidal Jew-haters.
Well, folks, as you can see, the bar for this series has been set just a few millimeters above the ground. Perhaps this way, each instance of good news we get can really feel like a moving, meaningful moment.
And I do expect us to get at least some - surely Israel will recover a handful of hostages alive…
“They will no longer defile themselves with their idols and vile images or with any of their offenses, for I will save them from all their sinful backsliding, and I will cleanse them. They will be my people, and I will be their God.” - Ezekiel 37:23
See these writings in the “Axis of Genocide” series for previous Hostage Liberation News:
Hmm: I could echo Nikki Haley by saying (through gritted teeth), "Finish them!", but, honestly, I don't know the likeliest way to liberate those captive, tortured--and often raped and impregnated--innocents.
My question is how do you destroy Hamas if the process of destroying them effectively drives new recruitment? I think Israel will find there are no alternatives to either acceptance of a hopefully weakened Hamas or long-term Israeli occupation of Gaza.
